The Parapsychology Foundation hosted “Investigating the Paranormal: Ghosts and Hauntings,” on Saturday afternoon, June 29th, 2002 at the Metropolitan Hotel in midtown Manhattan. Veteran field investigators Tony Cornell (Great Britain, more than 55 years in the field), and Loyd Auerbach (USA, more than 20 years in the field), and well-known ghost hunter Dr. Hans Holzer discussed their personal cases, investigative techniques, the meaning they have derived from their research, and advice for today's investigators. Dr. Carlos S. Alvarado, of the Foundation reviewed historical cases of ghosts and hauntings investigations and moderated the proceedings. An open audience question and answer session followed the Forum as well as a book-signing for Tony Cornell’s Investigating the Paranormal (Helix Press, 2002, ISBN 0-912328-98-3, available from the Foundation or from Amazon.com for $36.00) which launched on the same day.
