ANTONIO BRUERS
Professor, author. B. 1880, d. November 30, 1954, Rome, Italy. Professor Bruers, interested in psychic research and parapsychology for 46 years, was president of the Società Italiana di Metapsichica at the time of his death. Well known in scholarly circles, he was secretary of the Royal Italian Academy for several years, and when this organization was dissolved he became secretary of the Accademia dei Lincei. He was author of many books on philosophy, musicology, psychic research and bibliography. For a long period he was associated with the Istituto di Studi Psichici, serving successfully as assistant editor and as editor of the institute's review, Luce e Ombra, to which he contributed frequently.
