PIERO CASSOLI

Physician, psychologist; president, Bologna Center for Parapsychological Studies, 1975-1959. B. July 25, 1918, Bologna, Italy. M.D.., 1943, University of Bologna, 1943-1950; private practice, Bologna. Member, Italian Society for Parapsychology; direcor (1955-60), Parapsicologica; secretary for a group of Bologna researchers in parapsychology, 1949-57.

Dr. Cassoli is interested in telepathy, clairvoyance, precogniation, fire-walking, hand-reading, psychometry and so-called mystic or miraculous phenomenam and he has reported on his experiments and investigations in all these fields.

His articles include, in Metapsichica: "Does Bilocation Exist?" (1954); "Collective Experiences of Telepathy in Bologna" (in collaboration with Dr. E Marabini, q.v.; 1954); in Minverva Medica: "Parapsychology in the World" (No. 103, 1955); "Triennial Experiences of Hand-Reading with a Sensitive of Bologna, Maria Gardini" (in collaboration with Dr. Marabini; No. 48, 1957); "Fire-Walk in Greece" (No. 75, 1958); "The Weeping of Madonna of Rocca Corneta" (in collaboration with Mrs. Brunilde Cassoli, 1959); in Luce e Ombre: "About a Case of Mediumship" (19550; in the report of the Third Congress of the Italin Society for Parapsychology: "Experiences in Psychometry with the Sensitive Luisa Godicini" (in collaboration with Dr. Marabini; 1956).
