SPR award winner for essay "The Influence of "Applied Psi" upong the Sex of Offspring" (SPR Journal, Vol. 39, 1957); College of Psychic Science award winner for article "The Physical Phenomena of Mediumship as Evidence of Survival of Death" (Light, Vol. 78, 1958); honorary associate, Parapsychology Laboratory, Durham, N.C.

Mr. Cox is particularly interested in pychokinesis, subliminal psi and the studyy of mediumship and poltergiests. His articles include, in the Journal of Parapsychology: "The Effect of PK on the Placement of Falling Objects" (Vol. 15, 1951); "A Comparison of Spheres and Cubes in Placement PK Tests" (Vol. 18, 1954); "Threee-Tier Placement PK" (Vol. 23, 1989); in the ASPR Journal: "Precognition: An Analysis" (Vol. 50, 1956); "Introductory Comparative Analysis of Some Poltergeist Cases" (Vol. 55, 1961); in the Indian Journal of Parapsychology: "Precognition and PK" (Vol. 3, 1963).
