Dr. Kappers also completed an attempt to evaluate astrological findings statistically (with negative results) and at present is engaged in two investigations: an inquiry among residents of Amsterdam into the spontaneous occurrence of paranormal phenomena, and a study of paranormal occurrences among subjects during use of hallucinogens. He is an editor of the bimonthly Spiegel der Parapsychologie, to which he has contributed articles, and author of the article "The Investigation of Spontaneous Cases" (Tijdshcrift voor Parapsychologie, 1954).
