Speech therapist, Warren, Illinois, 1954-56; speech therapist, Richmond Virginia, public schools, 1955-56; associate director, Camp Richmond, Virginia, 1956-69; assistant director Northwestern University School of Education, 1957-60; head counselor, Elder Hall, Northwestern University, 1959-60; graduate assistant, University of Hawaii Department of Psychology, summer 1960; director, Child Study Center, Kent State University, Kent, Ohiio, 1961 to present.

Member: Phi Delta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Delta Sigma Rho, Parapsychological Assn., Council for Exceptional Children, American Assn. for the Advancement of Science, American Psychological Assn., American Speech and Hearing Assn., American Personnel and Guidance Assn., National Council on Psychological Asspects of Disability., International Society for General Semantics; winner YMCA Service to Youth award, 1959. Dr. Krippner is a co-author of the bulletin The Interests of Children and Youth (1960), a report on a project sponsored by Northwestern University and U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare. He is author of several articles on vocational development, exceptional children and reading disability that have appeared in professional journals.

Concerned with parapsychology as it relates to personality, he is interested in the study of poltergeist phenomena. With Arthur Hasingts (q.v.) he is co-author of the articles "Poltergeist Phenomena and Expectancy Set" (Northwestern Tri-Quarterly, Vol. 3, No. 3, Spring 1961), and "Expectancy Set and "Poltergeist" Phenomena (in the magazine ETC., a review of general semantics and methodology, Vol. 18, No. 3, Oct. 1961).
