Dr. Servadio is particularly interested in telepathy and general extrasensory perception from the psychodynamic and psychoanalytic points of view. He investigated the alleged mediumship of P. Erto (1932) and more recently the phenomena of so-called miraculous healers in Lucania, South Italy (1957). He has contributed some seventy articles in the field of psychology and psychoanalysis to such journals as Imago, Psicoanalisi, Revue Française de Psychanalyse, Annali di Neurosichiatria e Psicoanalisi, International Journal of Psycho-Analysis, La Tour Saint-Jacques.

In the field of parapsychology, he is author of the book La Ricerca Psichica (Psychical Research; 1930, 1946), and of some fifty articles and essays, including "Psychoanalyse und Telepathie" ("Psychoanalysis and Telepathy"; Imago, 1935, No. 4; reprinted in Psychoanalysis and the Occult, edited by George Devereux, 1953); "La Baguette des sourciers" ("The Diving Rod"; Revue Française de Psychanalyse, 1935, No. 3); "La percezione extra sensoriale" ("Extrasensory Perception"; Nuovi Problemi di Metapsichica, 1950); "A Presumptively Telepathic-Precognitive Dream During Analysis" (International Journal of Psycho-Analysis, 1955, No. 1); "Le conditionnement transfèrentiel et contre-transfèrentiel des èvènements "psi" au cours de l'analyse" ("Transference and Counter-Transference Conditioning of "Psi" Events During Analysis"; Acta Psychotherapeutica, Suppl.
